About the workshops
Professional artists from Teach Me Studios will guide you through a fun, creative activity, suitable for all abilities.
There are four activities to choose from:
A characterful Gargoyle Ornament
A beautiful Tile Mosaic
A charming Romney Sheep from felt
A unique artwork using Lino & Block Printing
Ticket prices: £20 for RMHCT Members, £25 for Non-Members, £10 Children
Timings:
Workshop 1, 9:30am-12pm - Choose from Gargoyles or Mosaics
Workshop 2, 12pm-2pm - Choose from Gargoyles or Mosaics
Workshop 3, 2:30pm-4:30pm - Choose from Felt Sheep or Lino/Block Prints (not suitable for children)
Other information
Materials: All materials and equipment are provided.
Short tour: You can join an optional short church tour before or after the workshop, to learn more about the unique church of St. George’s and the history of Romney Marsh (informal tour, approx. 15 minutes). Tours available at 11:40am or 2:10pm.
Refreshments: Drinks and biscuits are provided. For lunch, we can recommend The Bell Inn at Ivychurch, which is next to the church.
